NEW MICROBREWERY TO OPEN IN ANDOVER
Andover, MA 01810 – Ozzy Properties, Inc. announces the first tenant for the newly renovated RiverBend Mill at Dundee Park. Oak & Iron Brewing® Co., a new American Microbrewery.
Oak & Iron Brewing® Co. was founded by Jim Cass and John Helferich, two former business colleagues and longtime friends who conspired to transform their passion for great beer into a small yet mighty American craft brewery. They envisioned a brewery that captured the New England spirit: independent, innovative, and a little bit rugged. “We dreamed of creating flavorful, handcrafted beers and a great social experience for the people in our community,” says Cass, who along with Helferich, has deep roots in Massachusetts.
Opening in early 2017, Oak & Iron will brew time-honored classics and New England-inspired seasonals in small, artisanal batches right on site. Locals will enjoy the casual, convivial brewery taproom, and have the opportunity to pick up a growler to take home. The business also plans to distribute kegs to local restaurants and bars.
